Changing the World

Ok I just had one of my moments where I start annalyzing things.
(Maybe because I'm tired because I got up too early. lol)

But I was typing this in the Back To School Thread (at Escape)...

QUOTE:   I can't imagine how people afford college. Tuition is so high, then room & board if needed, books, computers etc... What an investment on a hope that it makes  a difference. Some careers require college, but some still don't. For the careers that don't require college, I think you'd be better off getting job experience, you'd be making monely instead of spending it while you are learning.

And it made me think about how people are always complaining about today's world and the way it has become so fast paced & competive. Here are some of my thoughts:

I often think that people complain about things such as the high price of college but they don't realize that we are the ones that can change things. If people said that's enough, I'm not going to pay it! Then the colleges would have no choice but to lower the rates and if less people went to college then it wouldn't be required. But the competition is so intense in life these days no one wants to take the risk that they will fall behind.

It's the same with people complaining that they have to work so much. Well guess what we are in control. Tired of working all the time? Only we can change that. Are you a mom that believes in the old ways of staying home and raising children. Then we as mother's have the power to change that also.

I guess what this country needs is a leader to show the people how to do that.

Like it or not I believe it is the majority that rules in this life.

I believe the majority of people are tired or working so much, tired of paying those high college fees that might not help a career any way (a large percentage of the time, a young person doesn't get a job in the field that they studied any way), tired of the rude people, tired of the traffic and on and on.

Ok well listen up "majority" only we can change these things. If you don't want to pay high dollars to go to college than don't. If you want to stay home with your children and not work than do it. Tired of rude people? Then don't be one. Tired of people on cell phones all the time? Then get off of yours.

I know it's not easy and no one person, one family can't make a difference.
We all have to do it. To change the world, we have to change the thinking of the majority.

Ok so that was some babbling. lol But does any one understand my reasoning.
It may never be possible for us to do because we can't control others actions but if we could some how make the decision as a group of people, city, country, world than we could make changes to the world. Good ones for a change.
